DANNY is an impressive guitar player. He picks up complete songs at an alarming rate. The skill he has as a guitarist would be noticed through any set up he'd use. His main "axe" is a custom shop ESP JEFF HANNEMAN Signature Guitar. Back up guitar is a ESP/LTD Jeff Hanneman JH-600. Main amp is a Marshall JCM 800 2203X with a Marshall DSL 50 as back up.

"I first saw Slayer perform at a gig here in San Antonio at a place called 'La Villa Fontanna'. There was a local band called "S.A. Slayer". The show featured both Slayer and S.A. Slayer. It was billed as "Slayer VS. Slayer". Slayer absolutely fucking annihilated the place. The energy and speed of their music left an impression on me that changed me as a musician. Now, 20 plus years later....I am still a Slayer fan. The raw power, decibels, energy and chaos that I feel from Slayer's live show is insane."
